Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Office Nurse to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, visual acuity, and administering medications and immunizations.
  • Assist physicians with technical procedures, such as outpatient surgical procedures and assembling sterile instruments and supplies.
  • Triages phone calls and executes appropriate follow-through.
  • Recognize changes in patient's physical and mental condition and takes appropriate actions.
  • Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Massachusetts either LPN or RN.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an LPN or RN.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead and train a group of employees.
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of office and laboratory procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and strong proficiency with Microsoft office applications and electronic health records.
