Nail Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nail Technician to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services to our guests, using your professional skills to meet the individual needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide meticulous manicure, pedicure, and hand/foot treatments.
  • Aid in ordering and stocking of supplies.
  • Prepare nail care equipment, sanitize implements, treatment areas, and supplies daily.
  • Maintain an impeccably clean and sterile working environment.
  • Stay up to date on various techniques and services via classes and seminars.
  • Provide the very highest quality in terms of treatment and professional concept.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in nail services, preferably in an upscale salon or spa.
  • Proficient skills in pedicure, manicures, and hand/foot treatments, with a special focus in natural nails.
  • Ability to clearly, pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Active Cosmetology or Nail Technician License required.
  • Ability to maintain compliance to State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.
  • Responsible and dependable with ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client's needs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing back-to-back appointments in a high-volume 4 diamond environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing nail technician tools throughout scheduled shift.

Availability:

  • Part Time or On Call position available.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and a variety of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
