Position Overview:

Sinclair Broadcast Group is in search of a talented and imaginative full-time Visual Storyteller. We are looking for an individual who can capture the essence of stories through the lens, delivering engaging narratives that resonate with our audience. This role involves covering a variety of assignments, including daily news, in-depth features, and investigative reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize high-definition (HD) equipment to shoot and edit compelling visual content.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in non-linear editing systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to produce high-quality stories under tight deadlines.
  • Engage with subjects and sources to gather information and enhance storytelling.
  • Manage the operation of ENG news vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in photography and technical expertise in editing and camera equipment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Capability to shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.
