Job Summary:

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure. This includes configuring and managing Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and other network devices. You will also work closely with our system administration team to deploy new sites and ensure the smooth operation of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the system administration team to deploy new sites and ensure network connectivity.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, topologies, and engineering principles.
