Role Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Epicor Support Specialist to enhance our IT department. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to users of the Epicor ERP platform. This role is vital for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of Epicor operations, directly impacting our organizational success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • User Assistance & Training: Deliver prompt and effective support to users, resolving inquiries related to Epicor functionalities, workflows, and system performance.
  • System Management: Aid in the setup, upkeep, and monitoring of the Epicor ERP system, including user account management, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and rectify technical challenges within the Epicor environment, addressing connectivity issues, data discrepancies, and system errors.
  • Customization & Enhancement: Collaborate with the development team to tailor and enhance Epicor modules to align with business needs, including the creation and modification of dashboards, reports, and business workflows.
  • Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of support activities, system settings, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • System Updates: Support the planning, testing, and execution of Epicor system upgrades, patches, and new releases.
  • Integration Assistance: Collaborate with other IT and business units to ensure smooth integration of Epicor with additional enterprise systems, such as CRM, MES, and financial applications.
  • Data Oversight: Manage data integrity within Epicor, overseeing data imports, exports, and backup protocols.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for system and process enhancements, proposing solutions to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all Epicor-related activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in an Epicor support role or comparable ERP system.
  • Solid understanding of Epicor modules (e.g., Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain).
  • Experience with SQL and other database management tools.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Epicor ERP system, including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business operations in manufacturing, finance, and distribution.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epicor Certification(s).
  • Experience with Epicor version 10 or later.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain dynamics.
  • Experience with BI tools and reporting functionalities in Epicor.
