Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and other staff members
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise feeding of residents as necessary and ensure that all residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
  • Notify physicians and supervisors of any changes in residents' health conditions
  • Perform administrative duties, such as documenting nurses' notes, assessments, and physician orders
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing for Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Current State of Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Work Environment

The LPN will work in a well-lit, comfortable temperature-controlled environment with above-average conversational noise. The physical demands of the job include frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds and standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
