Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager - Facilities to join our team at Navistar, Inc. This role will lead industrial services cross-functionally with the Facilities team, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for purchasing of Industrial Services
  • Execute sourcing activities related to Industrial Service requirements utilizing the technical scope of work provided by internal stakeholder departments
  • Lead negotiations and sourcing recommendations
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and pricing
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Conduct site visits to assess project status and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional team members and management
  • Review and analyze supplier performance, product quality, and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions
  • Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
  • 1 year lead experience
  • OR
  • Master's degree
  • At least 6 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
  • 1 year lead experience
  • OR
  • At least 10 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
  • 1 year lead experience
