Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a part-time, 2nd shift position. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents.
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education to residents and their families.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, such as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
