Job Title: Travel Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Imaging Technologist to join our team at a prestigious teaching hospital in the United States. As a Travel Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will work 3x12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, with holidays observed if they fall on the scheduled shift. The position requires a strong background in CT scanning, with experience in Siemens equipment and level 1 trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for CT scans
  • Monitor and maintain CT scanner equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for CT scanning
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning, preferably with Siemens equipment
  • Level 1 trauma experience preferred
  • ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday
