We are seeking a highly skilled IT Consultant to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As an IT Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance to our clients in the Township of Bloomfield, NJ.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience in IT consulting services, including general IT consultation, file server management, workstation management, network status, planning, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in supporting municipal-based computer software applications, such as Edmunds finance and tax applications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Daily remote/online real-time monitoring of critical functions.
  2. As requested or scheduled on-site and unlimited remote support.
  3. Complete service pack monitoring and patch updates regularly.
  4. Review all ancillary programs, including firewalls, data backups, endpoint protection programs, and perform system maintenance.
  5. Perform data backup across all servers, critical PCs, and applications.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting services.
  3. Strong knowledge of municipal-based computer software applications.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year
