We are seeking an experienced Cloud Observability Engineer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC.

About the Role

This is a contract position that requires expertise in cloud observability, DevOps, and AWS services. The successful candidate will work with our team to develop and implement end-to-end visibility into application performance and health using Dynatrace and other tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain observability strategies and solutions using AWS and Dynatrace.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions in hybrid environments.
  • Provide guidance on integrating observability tools and practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and analyze data to provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Assist in detecting, diagnosing, and resolving application performance issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as an Observability Engineer or DevOps Engineer with AWS experience.
  • Strong programming, scripting, and automation skills (e.g., Terraform).
  • Proficiency in using Dynatrace or other APM tools for application performance monitoring and observability.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EKS, ECS, Lambda, EC2, CI/CD.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Splunk.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 based on location and experience.
