We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for office visits by escorting them to treatment rooms, obtaining pertinent patient information, and documenting information in patients' charts.
- Process patient telephone calls and correspondence, and organize and prioritize duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with receptionists to ensure timely and efficient patient flow, and assist with scheduling patient appointments and other tasks as needed.
- Coordinate patient flow in the office, and ensure accurate and complete documentation on patient records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience is required.
- Knowledge of medical assisting normally associated with obtaining an Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance is preferred, National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.
- Day shift – Full Time – 40 Hours.
