About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fuel Service Technician to join our team at Ryder. As a Fuel Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fueling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fuel vehicles and record fuel activity to maintain proper fuel and DEF inventory and reconciliation.
  • Move heavy-duty vehicles and perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire repairs and align wheels.
  • Make multi-point inspections on inbound units as required by company policies and procedures.
  • Report service issues to the shop and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Three (3) years or more of related work experience, preferred.
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand customer's verbal communication.
  • Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • High degree of thoroughness and dependability, with ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
