Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Operations Specialist to join our team at Ddcaz. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience in our bar and casino setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledgeable and safe drink service to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of guests, providing a responsive and caring service.
  • Work efficiently in a team-based environment, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Train new team members and bar backs, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Manage cash handling and operate the Point of Sale (POS) cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor guests to ensure they are not intoxicated and follow proper procedures if intoxication is observed.
  • Stay up-to-date with knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and cocktails, as well as laws and regulations governing Food and Beverage.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Recent experience as a bartender in a recognized establishment or successful completion of six months in the TOGE Bar Back position.
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card and TIPS certification.
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in Basic English.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times.
  • Ability to work in a stressful and busy environment, following instructions and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly is required to stand for extended periods, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to walk. The team member occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in a bar and casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Evenings, graveyards, holidays, and/or weekend work are required. Extended hours and irregular shifts are required.
