Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at CHI St. Anthony Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiography procedures and providing accurate data to support informed medical decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures, including 2-D, M-Mode, and Doppler imaging, in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines.
  • Use advanced knowledge of cardiovascular systems to assess patient conditions and situations for performing procedures.
  • Document all procedures, including worksheets, video, chart recording, and digital archiving, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow departmental policy and procedure for performing and processing all procedures, including scheduling, ordering, coding, and charging.
  • Collaborate with physicians and direct care staff to provide complete and accurate data for informed echocardiographic interpretations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in echocardiography; two years experience in cardiology procedures as a cardiovascular technologist preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required; registry in Adult Echocardiography or registry eligible in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College-level courses in biology, chemistry, and electronics.
