Apprentice Field Engineer

The Apprentice Field Engineer will play a crucial role in observing and executing various service procedures for equipment to enhance customer satisfaction and guarantee the optimal performance of diagnostic imaging devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and resolve imaging equipment challenges within a healthcare radiology setting.
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance on assigned devices.
  • Perform safety and environmental evaluations to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Record service and repair activities in accordance with established protocols.
  • Engage with clients to ensure issues are resolved and follow-up is conducted.
  • Maintain tools and testing instruments.
  • Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in servicing electrical, electronic, IT, or mechanical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer relations.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights up to 35 lbs.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Prior experience with biomedical or electronic systems.
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
  • Capability to build and sustain customer relationships.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems.
