Job Purpose and Overview

As a CDL Class A Driver at Dawn Foods, you will be responsible for completing daily routes as assigned in a timely manner, prioritizing safety and production. You will interact with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road, including DOT operating and recording procedures.
  • Conduct daily face-to-face interaction with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a professional manner.
  • Break down product, shelf stack, offload with electric pallet jacks, perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, and collect invoice receipts generated from deliveries.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL License in good standing.
  • Ability to work in the United States.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to operate MHE equipment.

Work Environment

Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle. You will be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements most of the workday.
