Carpentry Specialist

About the Job:

Seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Cedar Fair. As a Carpenter, you will perform various tasks including repair and construction of park, restaurant, and office buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled trade duties in cabinet, carpentry, concrete, and asphalt work required in the maintenance, repair, and construction of Park, restaurant, and office buildings and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, JLG lifts, various saws, two-way radios, etc.
• Use measuring devices, carpentry tools, concrete tools, landscaping tools, mechanics tools, etc.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas, properly maintaining assigned equipment and tools.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall, utilizing chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and hold a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to perform component troubleshooting.
• High-level familiarity and experience working with shop tools.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $30 per hour.
