Job Overview

Transforce is seeking a skilled CDL-A local short haul truck driver to join our team. As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods within a designated area, ensuring timely and safe delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods within a local area
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other stakeholders to coordinate delivery schedules

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • At least 6 months of over-the-road experience
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
  • Ability to meet and pass all medical and DOT requirements
