At the Gandara Center, we are seeking a skilled Clinician to provide in-home and community therapeutic services to children and families in Springfield, MA. This is a dynamic role that requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and cultural sensitivity.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intakes, creating treatment plans, setting treatment goals, and implementing symptom-specific therapeutic interventions for infantile and juvenile disorders. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable populations and contribute to a supportive team environment.

We estimate an annual salary of $62,000-$85,000 based on experience, depending on qualifications and performance. The actual compensation package may vary based on individual circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand client needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a range of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly children and families
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, intervention, and case management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care
