Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Atrium Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage mechanical ventilation, arterial canalization, and endotracheal intubation for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care
- Practice within the guidelines set forth by the Medical Director and Department Director
- Assist with the orientation of new employees and students
- Completion of an approved college program in Respiratory Care
- Current Georgia State license to practice Respiratory Care and current ACLS/PALS/BCLS
- Must have a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within six months of hire
