Sterile Processing Implementation Specialist

The Staff Pad has partnered with a healthcare organization that specializes in providing non-clinical surgical services for minimally invasive surgical procedures to hospitals throughout the US.
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage projects related to sterile processing and oversee the implementation of new accounts. The role requires strong leadership in executing project plans, enhancing service quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage sterile processing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, while monitoring progress and addressing risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate regular updates to stakeholders.
- Analyze performance data to drive improvements and optimize processes.
Implementation Supervision:
- Oversee the start-up of new accounts, including the execution of project plans, and act as a key leader in service quality improvement.
- Manage the onboarding and training of new technicians, ensuring seamless integration with hospital teams.
- Provide on-site leadership during the implementation phase, troubleshooting issues and ensuring operational success.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership and hospital staff to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Support the hiring process for permanent team members at new accounts and identify future leadership talent.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in sterile processing or healthcare, with at least 1 year in training or team supervision.
- Certifications: CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 75-80% and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
