Job Description

At Oliver Heating and Cooling, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician - Commercial Systems to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems in the Montgomery County area.

About the Job:

  • Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, pumps, and BAS systems.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Utilization of electronic tablets for information sharing, scheduling, work order write-ups, quotes, and emails.
  • Obtaining vendor quotes, ordering parts, and following up with vendors until parts are received.
  • Creating quotes for customers.
  • Managing own portfolio of accounts, including communication and scheduling directly with customers, prioritizing workload, and staying on task with preventative maintenance.
  • Climbing ladders, up to 40 feet.
  • Participating in after-hours on-call rotation (1-week intervals).
  • Complying with applicable standards, policies, and procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures, and clean work areas.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
