Foster Farms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the Packaging department. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our department meets company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the packaging of poultry products to ensure high-quality output.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety protocols.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Line Supervisors and Hourly Employees.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the superintendent to address any issues or concerns related to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, and safety.
  • Develop and implement safety programs to minimize accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to contribute to the planning process and development of work-related techniques and processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
