Job Summary

We are currently looking for new trainees and licensed home inspectors to enter the home inspection industry. As a Home Inspector with AmeriSpec Inspection Services, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate home inspections, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our team to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home inspections with integrity and a strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces, and enter attics, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Develop a great attitude, good presence, and energy to provide excellent customer service.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great listening skills, to effectively communicate with real estate agents and customers.
  • Be proficient in computer skills and have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and components.
  • Have the aptitude and mental ability to problem-solve and conduct professional conversations.
  • Pass all employment screening and technical knowledge exams, and authorize background and driving checks.
  • Be available to work some evenings and weekends.

Training and Development

AmeriSpec Inspection Services provides top-notch training and development opportunities, including classroom instruction, in-field inspections, and hands-on technical training in our state-of-the-art facility, led by experienced instructors with over 30 years of industry expertise.

Our training facility features a replica of a home, as well as a host of training aids, such as a roof, water heater, plumbing, electrical panel, and appliances, which are utilized during training to provide inspectors with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the industry.
