Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed professional personnel in performing nursing process across the continuum to deliver age and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
  • Integrate values and language preferences into healthcare delivery through a culturally sensitive process.
  • Utilize clinical decision support tools and resources to recognize issues and prioritize care.
  • Provide patient and family education appropriate for identified learning needs.
  • Utilize resources to plan and provide nursing care that is safe, effective, and financially responsible.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) school/program.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS or PEARS Certification within one year of hire date, as required by department specification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of patient care experience.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, with 4-10 hour shifts. The shift time is 8a-6:30pm, 3 days a week, and 10a-8:30pm, 1 day a week. Off day would rotate.
