About the Role

The successful candidate will assist physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and their families. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different healthcare environments.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation programs, promoting optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to physical therapists, facilitating informed decision-making and timely interventions.
  • Maintain a safe and organized treatment area, ensuring equipment is in good working order and ready for use.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Travel to different healthcare facilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

 

Requirements
  • Hold a current PTA license and certification, reflecting a commitment to professional excellence.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not essential; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Show the ability to adapt to diverse healthcare environments, navigating changing priorities and requirements with ease.
  • Be willing to travel frequently, embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with this role.
