- Draw blood and prepare labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing, adhering to established protocols.
- Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions, ensuring accurate results and efficient workflows.
- Respond to all lab messages and call-back requests, providing timely and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
- Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Ensure patient immunizations are well-documented and administered in accordance with approved procedures, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Conduct physician referrals and service pre-certifications as needed, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare teams.
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
We are seeking an individual with an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.
