Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and provide accurate information to our attorneys.
  • Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, including pleadings and court filings.
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Record and store client information, including medical treatment follow-up and other relevant details.
  • Electronic court filings in New York State and other jurisdictions as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or in a related legal field, with a strong understanding of personal injury law.
  • Familiarity with legal research and the ability to analyze complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
