Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a skilled Per Diem Technical Assistant to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient support systems are always in place.
  • Report any changes in patient condition to nurses and/or technologists during the transport process.
  • Provide direct patient care as directed by technologists or radiologists, in conjunction with all imaging procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between technologists and nursing staffs, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform all duties related to the hand-off of care within the imaging department and hospital unit, including recognizing and reporting abnormal, emergent, or unusual signs and symptoms.
  • Check all documentation prior to patient transfer and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Supply rooms with linen, supplies, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a health-related field preferred.
