We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Lourdes Health. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide direct supervision of patients and implement treatment plans as directed by Charge RN or lead Mental Health Professional staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional interpersonal customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Implement treatment plans and provide direct supervision to patients in the Adult Inpatient Unit or Crisis Triage Facility.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mental health care.
- Minimum 90 quarter or 60 semester credit hours of education in social service/behavioral science.
- Associate of Arts (AA), Bachelors of Science (BS), Arts (BA) or Social Work (BSW) Degree in social service/behavioral science preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year mental health experience preferred.
- Must have or apply for a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor within days of employment.
- Current Heart Savers Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certification required.
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities preferred.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
