About the Role

Lime Media Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing and overseeing various fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Oversee the execution of fabrication projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with shop management and team members to implement project plans and meet daily milestones for completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the final product meets the highest standards.
  • Workshop Management: Maintain a clean and orderly workshop and toolbox to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned to support the team and company goals.

Requirements

  • Forklift Certification: Possess a valid forklift certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Specialty Fabrication Experience: Previous experience in specialty fabrication is required, with a portfolio of past projects.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy materials greater than 50 pounds.
  • Physical Demands: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to work in various positions, including standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.

Work Environment

  • Fabrication Shop: Work in a fabrication shop, which may include exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Requirements

  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Travel: Travel when necessary.
