Telemedicine Specialist

Piedmont Macon Medical Center is seeking a skilled Telemedicine Specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to provide specialized nursing care in a telemetry unit for adult and geriatric patients.

• Manage patient populations with medical-surgical needs, including chest pain, CHF, hemodialysis, and post-catheterization.
• Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis and EPIC for day-to-day operations.
• Comply fully with all facility requirements to ensure timely start.
• Work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period; if two major holidays fall, work both; if three, work two.
• Follow the weekend requirement of six shifts per contract.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and hold a GA or Compact license. Additionally, they must be certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIH, with a strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias.

This position offers a competitive salary of $43,920 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek. The shift details include working night shifts, specifically 12x3 - 07PM, with a guaranteed hours commitment.
