Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they understand the process.
  • Position patients and imaging equipment accurately to obtain optimal results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records throughout the imaging process.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Calibrate imaging equipment to ensure clarity and precision in results.
  • Organize and log imaging results, assisting in the interpretation of findings.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to determine the necessity of additional imaging.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Collect and document patient medical histories and vital signs.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and manage communication effectively.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Assist healthcare providers during various procedures as needed.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or certification in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Radiology Technician role or similar capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient service.
  • Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing for extended periods and operating equipment.

Work Schedule:
Standard working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Compensation:
Competitive pay rate, up to $24.00 per hour.
