About the Role

Bethesda Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and develop strategies for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in long-term care and maintain current certifications and licenses
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of employment
  • CPR and AED certification, or willingness to obtain within six months
  • IV certification, or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
