About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in the Operating Room as a member of the surgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, participating in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room, and maintaining a professional work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in surgical technology and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work well with internal and external customers, demonstrate accountability for their own self-development, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program. You should also be certified as a Surgical Technologist within 90 days of hire and possess fine motor skills, ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves, and auditory skills that allow you to hear individuals whose speech may be muffled.

You will also need to be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and use patient handling equipment when necessary. Additionally, you should be able to work rotating shifts, including holidays, and take call as needed.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location.
