We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Coordinator to support our Total Rewards team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Conduct biweekly payroll processing and provide coverage for the payroll team as needed.
  • Garnishments and Verifications: Process garnishments within the HRIS system and conduct employment and wage verifications.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Submit tax agency notices to ADP for review and alert the payroll manager for escalations.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors' processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for direct inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Shared Inboxes and Calendars: Monitor, organize, and maintain shared inboxes and calendars.
  • Mail Processing: Process, scan, maintain, and respond to incoming mail.
  • Total Rewards Events: Assist with organizing and coordinating total rewards events, including room and food reservations, communication with participants/attendees, and preparation and distribution of materials.
  • HR Documentation: Assist with organizing, updating, and maintaining HR-related documentation.
  • Benefits Transactions: Perform routine benefits transactions.
  • Inventory and Maintenance: Inventory, monitor, and maintain informational and educational/reference materials for the HR office.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions is essential.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background or interest in HR/Total Rewards is desirable.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience is required.

  • Excellent organizational and priority-setting skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of customer service skills, with a focus on relationship management and customer satisfaction.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including familiarity with HRIS, benefits, and compensation databases.
  • A general awareness of U.S. Federal, State, and local benefits and compensation laws and regulations.
