Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Harold Beck & Sons. This role involves optimizing production processes, improving productivity, and reducing costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with CNC machining and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain effective manufacturing processes to support machine shop and assembly operations
• Design and implement new manufacturing methods to keep our capabilities current and optimized
• Review existing manufacturing processes and develop new ones to improve efficiency
• Perform time and motion analysis studies to identify areas for improvement
• Recommend capital equipment and lead a team effort to research, prepare, and present cost/benefit analysis

Requirements:
• Four-year bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in a production manufacturing environment
• In-depth experience designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling CAD software
• Proficient in developing CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive, professional atmosphere

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
