Job Summary:

As an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist at Danville Child Development Center, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of individualized plans for infants and toddlers with disabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating learning environments and activities that promote the acquisition of skills in various developmental areas, including cognitive processes and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized plans for infants and toddlers with disabilities, in collaboration with families and other professionals.
2. Design and deliver training and educational programs for families and childcare professionals on inclusionary practices and strategies for supporting children with disabilities.
3. Conduct developmental assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities.
4. Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and educators, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or above in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, or a related field. One year of experience working directly with preschool children with disabilities and their families. Certification in Speech Language Pathology and a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License are also required.
