Extruder Operator

We are seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to join our team on 1st and 3rd shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extruder machines, ensuring end products meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate extruder machines to produce high-quality products
• Conduct regular checks on extrusions using verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges
• Record material specifications and machine status in the internal system
• Unload, reload, and clean assigned machines
• Obtain material from inventory freezer, thaw, and cut specific amounts for reloading
• Obtain correct dies for jobs, clean die machines, and return dies to their correct locations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in extrusion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.50 per hour
