Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and both predictive and preventive maintenance on production equipment, instrumentation, and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products through effective maintenance practices.
  • Manage a disciplined maintenance team and uphold a preventative maintenance program.
  • Oversee inventory management of parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will collaborate closely with plant management, peers, contractor maintenance personnel, and operations staff to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance is essential.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic operation of DC & AC Circuits.
  • Understanding of automated valves and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical relay logic circuits.
  • Familiarity with mechanical gearboxes.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Understanding of pneumatic diaphragm pumps.
  • Ability to operate temperature, pressure, and flow control loops.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and instrument loop sheets.
  • Experience in reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting PLC programs.
  • Competence in using basic hand tools and welding skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
  • Willingness to share maintenance knowledge with fellow technicians.
  • Ability to collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve issues effectively.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and respond to maintenance support requests as needed.
  • Enthusiasm for training and developing production operators in basic maintenance tasks.
