Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our team as a trial attorney in our Jericho, NY office. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial, demonstrating exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures.

The selected candidate will possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and will be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage a busy and time-sensitive caseload. The position is classified as a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and virtual work arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues
  • Prepare and present written and oral arguments in court
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management
Requirements
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in New York and membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,625.00-$160,000.00, with potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary. Our employees enjoy a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
