**About the Role**

Gillette Children's is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional surgical services to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality surgical services that meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and maximize patient health.
  • Develop and implement clinical criteria to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of surgical care.
  • Participate in administrative, research, and education responsibilities within the Craniofacial section.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery to maintain expertise and provide the best possible care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
  • Teach and mentor Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare residents, medical students, and fellows to advance their knowledge and skills.

**Qualifications**

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
  • Completion of a minimum one-year Pediatric Craniofacial fellowship.
  • Meets the qualifications to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota, including DEA license.
  • Current certification in CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association) or must obtain certification within days of hire.
  • Clinical proficiency in area of medical specialty.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the management of patients with complex chronic conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and respect with patients, staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
  • Active member of the medical staff of Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.
