We are partnering with a well-established Plastics Manufacturer to fill the role of Manufacturing Engineer. This position involves developing new manufacturing equipment, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of automated machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC control systems, cartesian robots, 6 axis robots, and parts feeding equipment. A strong understanding of electrical controls and mechanical aptitude is also essential for success in this role. Additionally, proficiency in Solid Works Electrical, PLC Development, Omron, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff or other similar software is highly beneficial.

In this position, you will work closely with internal resources, external vendors, and customers to ensure the successful development and implementation of new products. Your ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems will be critical to the success of the team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing new manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Managing vendor relationships and RFQs.
  • Ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of automated machinery.
  • Troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Designing and developing tooling and components.
