Extended Recovery Unit RN Job Description

This Registered Nurse position involves working in the Extended Recovery Unit, where you will provide high-quality patient care and support the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients' extended recovery status.
  • Develop and implement individualized extended recovery plans of care.
  • Manage patients' fluid and pain, administering medications correctly and following safe medication practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Current registered nurse licensure in Arkansas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) or Certified Ambulatory Peri-anesthesia Nurse (CAPA) certification, preferred.
Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
