Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all tasks safely, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting as needed.
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of all facility equipment through preventive and routine checks.
  • Perform regular cleaning and replacement of filters in HVAC units and other machinery.
  • Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the equipment used within the facility.
  • Maintain knowledge of the facility's plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and training requirements.
  • Assist with unloading freight deliveries as necessary.
  • Carry out additional maintenance tasks as requested.
  • Foster a positive work environment through a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Research and implement new methods to enhance maintenance practices while complying with relevant laws.
  • Exhibit personal hygiene and adhere to health guidelines while handling sensitive materials.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; further education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity, especially when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to changes in procedures and policies.
  • Comprehension of and compliance with company regulations and policies.
Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully pass all required background checks.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations for industry work is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Approval from the state regulatory agency is necessary to obtain a cannabis agent badge.
Working Conditions
  • This role requires frequent physical activity, including grasping, climbing, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) safely.
