Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced LPN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients, implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
