In the realm of aviation, precision is paramount, particularly regarding fuel systems. As an Aircraft Fuel Systems Technician, you will be tasked with identifying and rectifying fuel system issues to guarantee the safety and efficiency of flights. Through meticulous inspections and assessments of these intricate systems, you play a crucial role in preventing potential malfunctions during airborne operations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for this position, candidates must fulfill specific criteria related to their background, health, and standards established by the Air Force and federal regulations.
Minimum Educational Requirements

Applicants must possess a High School diploma, GED, or have completed 15 college semester hours. High School Seniors (aged 17 or older) may initiate their application process at the conclusion of their junior year.

Individuals who are not graduates or do not hold alternative credentials must achieve a minimum AFQT Test score of 65 on the ASVAB.

  • Familiarity with internal components such as valves, lines, gauges, and controls
  • Completion of relevant Aircraft Fuel Systems training

  • Successful completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
