Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist at OrthoAlliance, you will play a vital role in our radiology department, assisting physicians in patient care and performing high-quality x-rays. Your expertise will be essential in creating professional relationships with patients of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to the x-ray suite and prepare them for procedures.
- Perform x-rays as required by physicians, ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Document procedures performed in log books and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and staff to ensure seamless care.
- Provide medical assistance as needed and be available to physicians during office hours.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and order x-ray supplies as necessary.
- Pull, file, and mail back x-rays, and answer patient questions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, including OSHA compliance and travel to satellite offices.
Requirements:
- Must be ARRT and Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Radiography licensed.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent hearing and communication, seeing up close and at a distance, reading and comprehending, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, handling, and/or feeling objects.
- Ability to climb, pull, push, and kneel, with a maximum unassisted lift of 50 lbs and average lift of 25-50 lbs.
