Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a Correctional Facility in Victoria, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and support in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct and motivate patients in exercises and functional activities to promote physical rehabilitation.
  • Document patient progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients with transfers, exercises, and other physical activities as needed.
  • Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
  • Observe patients during treatments to evaluate their responses and progress.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • A valid and current Physical Therapist Assistant license issued by the State of Virginia.
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
